Abstract

Green chemistry is revolutionizing the landscape of sustainable manufacturing by minimizing hazardous substances, reducing waste, and conserving energy. This paper explores significant advancements in catalytic systems, renewable feedstocks, green solvents, and process intensification. The integration of green principles in industrial sectors such as pharmaceuticals, textiles, and agrochemicals is critically analyzed, with emphasis on adoption barriers and innovation drivers. By leveraging green chemistry tools, Pakistani industries have the potential to mitigate environmental impact while enhancing economic viability.
