Health financing in developing economies remains a critical factor in achieving universal health coverage (UHC) and improving health outcomes. The traditional reliance on out-of-pocket expenditures and donor aid is increasingly being supplemented with innovative financing reforms that seek to ensure equitable access to healthcare services. This article explores the key reforms in health financing systems in developing economies, with a focus on Pakistan. The challenges, opportunities, and outcomes of these reforms are critically analyzed, providing insights for policy-makers, healthcare managers, and international organizations. By analyzing different strategies like risk pooling, health insurance models, and increased government spending, this article highlights the essential steps required to make health financing more sustainable, equitable, and effective
